Missing Ayleen from Gottenheim found dead in Hessen – probably a crime victim – Gottenheim

The body of a girl found in a lake in Hesse is 14-year-old Ayleen from Gottenheim. This was confirmed by the police on Saturday evening. According to BZ information, she may have fallen victim to a violent crime.

The girl’s body was discovered on Friday in Teufelsee in the Hessian Wetteraukreis. The Freiburg police had already reported on Friday evening that a connection between the dead and the missing Ayleen A. was being investigated.

Now there is sad certainty: according to the police, the forensic examination has shown that it is actually the 14-year-old from southern Baden. The Wetterau district lies to the north of the greater Frankfurt area, almost 300 kilometers from Breisgau.

The lake, which is difficult to access due to its overgrown shore, is located in a nature reserve near Bad Nauheim. The lake was created from earlier lignite mining.

Ayleen has been missing since July 21

According to BZ information, the first findings and the location where the body was found indicate that the girl found could have died violently. Police will release more details at a press conference on Monday.

14-year-old Ayleen A. from the Tuniberg municipality of Gottenheim has been missing since July 21. The police searched with a large contingent and investigated in all directions, more than 100 tips from the population were received.

The whole of southern Baden took part in the fate of the missing girl, whose photo appeared on countless flyers and pamphlets between Kaiserstuhl and the Black Forest, on S-Bahn trains, buses and train stations. Now the search ended with the worst possible scenario.
