21-year-old dies after accident during Shrove Monday parade in Halle

A carnival float had caught the young woman – the move to Halle had been canceled after the accident. The police are investigating exactly what happened.
After the accident with a motto wagon during the Rose Monday parade in Halle, the seriously injured pedestrian died in the hospital. That’s what the police say. Accordingly, the 21-year-old succumbed to her injuries in a hospital in Halle.
The woman was hit by a carnival float on Shrove Monday.
After the accident, the move was canceled and was able to start again this year after a two-year break due to corona. The closing event on the market square was also cancelled. The police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
