Comedian Mirco Nonchev died at the age of only 52. Now the first details of how it was found have become known.
It was news that shocked many Germans: the popular comedian Mirco Nontschew was reported dead yesterday, completely surprisingly. He was only 52 years old. The first details on how to find the deceased have now become known.
Accordingly, an emergency call was received by the fire brigade at around 4 p.m. on Friday, the officials confirmed to both “T-online” and “Bild”. Rescue workers arrived shortly afterwards in the apartment in an apartment building in Berlin-Lankewitz, a district of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. Nontschew is said to have lived there in the attic. Because nobody opened the door, the police had the door of the apartment opened by the fire brigade at around 4 p.m. and finally found the 52-year-old’s body. According to the “Bild am Sonntag”, concerned relatives are said to have made the emergency call. They had not reached Nontschew for several days.
Cause of death still unknown
There is still no confirmed information on the cause of death. The cause is to be clarified in a death investigation, confirmed a police spokeswoman, an autopsy had also been ordered. The police reported that there was no evidence of third-party negligence or suicide, reports “Bild am Sonntag”. Nontschew recently visited a clinic, but nothing is known about the reasons for the stay.
The comedian had become known through the classic show “RTL Saturday Night”, but had reduced his public appearances considerably in recent years until he surprisingly celebrated a comeback with the comedy show “LOL – Last One Laughing”. Nontschew had largely kept his private life out of the press, as early as 2010 he stated in an interview that he sometimes wished his life back in anonymity. He leaves two daughters.
