More than a month after his death, comedian Mirco Nontschew has finally been buried. There should still be an opportunity for the fans to say goodbye.

His death moved millions of people in Germany: On December 3, 2021, the popular comedian Mirco Nontschew was found dead in his Berlin apartment. He was only 52 years old. However, he could not be buried for a long time – because the investigations by the authorities dragged on for a long time. As recently as January 10, the Berlin public prosecutor’s office had confirmed that the death investigation had not yet been completed.

The official cause of death is still not known, but at least Nonchev has now found his last resting place. His manager Bertram Riedel announced this to the RTL television station on Monday. The funeral took place in January, but Riedel did not give the exact date. The burial took place in the closest family circle.

But the fans should also have the opportunity to say goodbye to their idol. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper. According to this, a big farewell party for the comedian should take place in the summer and be planned as a kind of public memorial event.

“RTL Saturday Night” made Mirco Nontschew famous

Mirco Nontschew became known in 1993 through the comedy series “RTL Saturday Night”. Together with Olli Dittrich, Esther Schweins, Wigald Boning and other talents, he revolutionized the humor genre at the time and brought nonsense to the screen that was previously unknown in Germany. A whole generation of viewers therefore stayed at home on Saturday evening to see recurring formats such as “Kentucky screams fuck”, “Two Chairs – One Opinion” or Nonchev in “The Mente Brothers – Ali & Rudi”.
