The Bavarian Ministry of Education has nothing to prevent the construction of the new Realschule in Hohenbrunn. The authority has approved the application of the special-purpose association for state secondary schools in the south-east of the district to reestablish the school in Hohenbrunn, as the management of the special-purpose association can be found out on request. Initially, the construction of a secondary school at the Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn site was planned, but this was abandoned again. In the next step, the association has to apply for the school supervisory approval from the government of Upper Bavaria. Among other things, it is checked whether the planned room allocation is compatible with proper school operations. A four-stream secondary school is planned. This, along with a Montessori school and sports facilities, is to be built on the site west of the S-Bahn line in Hohenbrunn.
