Bavaria’s Social Affairs Minister Ulrike Scharf (CSU) has positioned herself clearly against Federal Family Minister Lisa Paus (Greens) in the debate about the abolition of Paragraph 218. This wants to delete the regulation according to which abortion is a criminal offense – even if it remains unpunished under certain conditions. She got a lot of approval for that. Sharp resists the proposal.
