Unknown people have stolen several tons of copper from a company building in Bamberg. They are said to have forced open a window and got into the hall, as the police announced on Monday. The damage from the break-in over the weekend is said to be in the low six-figure range. According to the police, the perpetrators must have used a truck to transport them away. At the end of last year, several tons of copper were stolen from a company premises in Middle Franconia. The police are investigating whether these cases could be related. So far there is no information about this.
