Middle East conflict: Israel and Hamas probably ready to compromise – politics

While crisis meetings are held in Cairo and Riyadh, Israel and Hamas are signaling a willingness to compromise on a possible agreement on the release of the hostages and a ceasefire in Gaza. At the same time, both parties are intensifying their attacks.

A lot has just started moving again in the search for a way out of the Gaza war. But while a possible agreement for the release of hostages and a ceasefire were being negotiated in Cairo and Riyadh on Monday, the conflicting parties have once again intensified their fighting. At the same time, Hamas claimed responsibility for an attack on Israel from Lebanon in which a volley of 20 rockets was fired.
