Mickie Krause actually wanted to encourage other men to take cancer precautions in the new Vox show “Showtime of my Life”. Then the doctors diagnosed him with cancer. In an interview, he revealed how things will continue.

In the new TV show “Showtime of my Life” (Vox, from February 15 on TV and at RTL+) stars show how important cancer prevention is for men and women of all ages. Ironically, as a participant in this program, hit star and entertainer Mickie Krause (51) himself received the shock diagnosis: bladder cancer.

In the meantime, Krause has been operated on and has survived the operation well. However, it was still unclear how Mickie Krause would continue and what consequences he would feel from the cancer. In conversation with the “Image”-Zeitung now gave Krause precise information about this and announced how things will continue for him in the coming weeks and months.

As a next step, he will soon receive a so-called post-resection. This examination, which is scheduled in two weeks, is to take place in the Berlin Charité. According to Krause, “they look again to see if everything is gone. Immunotherapy will then begin in April”. This is expected to last six weeks and is “not quite as severe as chemotherapy”.

The good news for Krause: He can do the immunotherapy “with my urologist in the area. That’s my therapy for the near future.” Despite the difficult diagnosis, Krause still takes a positive view of his cancer: He knows that “cancer (…) will now accompany me for life”, but: “I will not take my good mood away from cancer leave,” Krause continues.

For the viewers of the show, his case is probably another warning shot to go for an examination themselves and to get a possible diagnosis as early as possible.
