Seriously injured: Mick Schumacher crashes into the track barrier during a race – qualification interrupted

Mick Schumacher was seriously injured in an accident during Saudi Arabia’s Formula 1 qualification. The 23-year-old crashed sideways into the barrier at high speed.
Mick Schumacher suffered a serious accident in Saudi Arabia’s Formula 1 qualifier. The 23-year-old crashed sideways into the track barrier at high speed on Saturday in the Haas on the ultra-fast street circuit in Jeddah. The car belonging to the son of record world champion Michael Schumacher was thrown across the track and then came to a standstill, badly damaged. The qualification was immediately suspended.
Mick Schumacher conscious again after the crash
According to his racing team, Schumacher was conscious shortly after the crash and was able to leave the car. He was taken to the track hospital for further tests. An ambulance was seen on TV pictures at the scene of the accident.
