Michelle Obama proves her acting skills. She will be seen in a guest role on “Black-ish”.

For the final season of the series “Black-ish”, the producers have invited a very special guest star. Former United States First Lady Michelle Obama, 57, will appear on the series. That gave the production team announced on the official Twitter page of the series on Thursday.

A photo that shows Obama between the series stars reads: “#blackish is pulling out all the stops for the final season! We are honored that pioneer Michelle Obama is joining us as a guest star.” Whether Barack Obama’s wife (60) will play herself and other details about her appearance are still under lock and key.

Second series role for Michelle Obama

It’s not the first series role for Michelle Obama. In 2014, during her husband’s tenure as US President, she appeared on the series “Parks and Recreation”. Back then, she starred in a guest role in the sixth season.

“Black-ish” is an American comedy series centered around an African American family. In the previous seven seasons, other political figures such as Democrat Stacey Abrams (47) or Barack Obama’s former advisor David Axelrod (66) had guest roles. The series, which is broadcast on the US broadcaster ABC, is available in Germany on Disney +. It is not yet known when the eighth and therefore final season of the series will be released.
