More than two months after declaring the disappearance of the mother of the family, the 51-year-old man was imprisoned and indicted for “murder of spouse” Friday, June 15.
During his confession, the husband of Karine Esquivillon told the gendarmes of the Nantes Research Section that it was an accident, which occurred while he was taking a photo of a rifle equipped with a silencer, in order to put it on sale.
Master Antoine Ory describes a client “relieved to have been able to deliver the enormous weight he had on his conscience” and “lucid” in the face of the challenges of the upcoming investigation, but “decided to explain” to the judges.
