Michel Bimier, antiques dealer on “Affaire concluded” on France 2, violently attacked

You should never roll down your car window when you knock at a red light. This is what Michel Bimier, an antiques dealer known for his appearances in “Affaire concluded”, the France 2 show, recommends after an attack that he revealed on Instagram. Contacted by Le Parisien this Monday, he confirmed having been attacked but explained that he had not filed a complaint for “fear of reprisals”.

According to his short story, which he did not wish to embellish for Le Parisien, the trader, originally from Pont-Audemer in Eure, was “at a red light in the Paris region”, when “a person a little shady” knocked on his car window to ask for a coin.

“French fucker”

Michel Bimier would not have given him anything – “sorry, no” – and would have been treated “an asshole… a Frenchman”, in his words, posted on Instagram. The attacker then allegedly “slashed his face” with “a blade”. “This is what can happen at a red light in the Paris region when you don’t give a coin to a slightly shady person and when you tell them sorry no,” writes the antique dealer, to accompany the photo of his bloody face.

The trader, who began appearing on the France 2 show in May 2022, still reassures his subscribers: “It’s not too serious so take care of yourself”. In a final message, posted this Monday on Instagram, Michel Bimier thanks “many of your messages which touched me”.
