Hugo, the main animal protagonist in the children’s book “Hugo, the Dung Beetle”, has unusually long legs. His shell is blue and his cheeks are red, just like the bobble hat and pants he wears. Hugo is a very busy beetle, because there are many animals in the forest that leave a lot of droppings behind, which is a lot of work for a dung beetle. Hugo is happy about the “tasty-smelling delicacies”, all the different types of droppings, which he diligently rolls and shapes and drags into his beautifully decorated mister beetle den.
