Four men have been arrested in connection with the drug death of “The Wire” star Michael K. Williams. They face long prison sentences.
Around five months after the tragic drug death of “The Wire” star Michael K. Williams (1966-2021), four people have been arrested by the US authorities. This is reported, among other things, by the US site “Entertainment Weekly”. Accordingly, the four men between the ages of 39 and 70 were each accused of “selling and possessing fentanyl analogues, fentanyl and heroin” last Tuesday (February 1).
Irvin Cartagena, the youngest of the four alleged perpetrators, is also accused of being directly involved in the star’s death. According to prosecutor Damian Williams, he is “the man who we believe sold the fatal drug dose to Michael K. Williams.” “Entertainment Weekly” lists the three other men in the drug ring as a possible prison sentence of 5 to 40 years.
