Michael B. Jordan will direct “Creed IV”

It’s confirmed, Michael B. Jordan will return to service behind the camera for Creed IV. An announcement made by Irwin Winkler, historic producer of the Rocky franchise, during an event organized by Deadline.

“I’m not supposed to say it, but he’s going to realize it,” declared the venerable 92-year-old producer, just after confirming that the new opus was in the works.

Nothing surprising

“We think we have a very good plot,” assured Irwin Winkler, not without deploring the delay caused by the Hollywood actors’ strike which has just ended.

A Creed IV production of which should start within a year, and which will allow Michael B. Jordan to confirm his ability to renew the franchise created by Sylvester Stallone in 1976, whether in front of or behind the camera. It must be said that with Creed III, his first production, Michael B. Jordan has had the luxury of signing the most beautiful start to a sports film. So it’s no surprise that MGM reiterates its confidence in him.
