New Features in MetaMask 10.28
- Dedicated NFT Tab : In this new version, an NFT tab is included to help users easily view and manage their NFTs within the wallet.
- Simplified ERC-721 NFT transmission: Users can transfer ERC-721 NFT without relying on external platforms or smart contracts.
- NFT auto-detection : If enabled This feature will display all ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens in your wallet.
- Support for upcoming ERC-1155 transfers: While not available at this time, MetaMask plans to introduce the ability to send ERC-1155 tokens in the near future.
Impact on NFT holders
The launch of these features could be a game changer for NFT holders, as previously Users have to rely on platforms like OpenSea. or smart contracts to transfer their NFT, which puts them at risk But this new update removes these concerns. and makes it possible to send NFTs directly from within the MetaMask browser extension.
