Messi, from the film “Anatomy of a Fall”, received the “Golden Q” for best dog 2024

Even if nothing beats a good “nonoss”, the actor dog Messi, already recipient of the first “Palm Dog” of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, received one more award yesterday.

This border collie, who plays the guide dog of a visually impaired little boy in the film “Anatomy of a Fall”, was indeed awarded the “Golden Q” for best dog by the TMC show Quotidien , teaches us HuffPost.

Intimidated by the loud applause which accompanied his entry onto Yann Barthès’ set, Messi entrusted his accompanist – Milo Machado Graner, who plays young Daniel – with the task of delivering a speech that he would have dictated to him.

“It was an incredible experience and for that, a big congratulations and thank you to Justine (Triet, the director), filmmaker with whom I would perhaps agree to work again on occasion; she knows how to reach me and lure me,” read the young actor.

If Messi collects distinctions, like the film in which he stars, it is because his “performance” on screen is as moving as it is astonishing. Viewers were particularly impressed by a scene in which he feigns illness.

Among the other awards of the “Q d’or” evening, Raphaël Quenard received that of best actor, Paul Kircher that of male revelation, Milo Machado Garner (Daniel, therefore, in “Anatomy of a Fall”) that for best hope, Léa Drucker for best actress, Zaho de Sagazan for musical revelation and Florence Foresti for best show.
