Technical problems have occurred with the Whatsapp messenger service. In several countries, users are affected by the failure. The cause is not yet known.
Extensive technical disruptions occurred on Whatsapp on Tuesday. Users of the messenger service report on Twitter and other channels that they can no longer send messages. Many also reported a failure of the Whatsapp platform on the Alle disturbances.de portal. The reason for the disruption in several countries was not initially known. The service, which belongs to the Facebook group Meta, initially did not comment on the failure.
