Are you no longer able to send messages on Whatsapp? You are one of the messaging users affected by the global outage to which the network has been a victim for several minutes, this Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Numerous outages have been reported on the site DownDetector, which lists connection problems on applications and social networks. On X, tweets also mention this outage. Users complain about not being able to connect to email, or not being able to send messages.
“We are working to get everything back to 100%”
Whatsapp, owned by the Meta group, reacted to this incident in a press release published on X, shortly before 9 p.m.
“We know some people are experiencing issues at the moment, we are working to get everything back to 100% for everyone as quickly as possible,” he says in a tweet.

This incident comes less than a month after a previous outage which affected both Facebook, Instagram and Messenger for a little over an hour.
