Out of place because Merz has already answered that. Multiple. Before the state election, Merz issued the slogan: The second vote in the second largest federal state is a vote for the federal CDU. After the election results arrived last Sunday and with them the lowest percentage bar for the Lower Saxony CDU in 60 years, Merz suddenly announced: “The election result is primarily a result of state politics.”
