Merry-go-rounds, Ferris wheel, roller dancing… The festival takes on the air of a funfair

More than a festival. This summer, the Vieilles Charrues will turn into a giant funfair. After announcing the theme in December, the organizers have just unveiled the program for the party. Between two concerts, festival-goers will be able to take advantage of free rides and various stands. In addition to the Ferris wheel, already present for a few years, the Flyman will appear on the Kerampuilh site in Carhaix (Finistère). This 54-metre-high merry-go-round comes straight from the Foire du Trône.

On the program of the “Toto party”, there will also be crazy stands such as La Mailloche, “a game of strength for baltringues”, slingshot shooting, arm wrestling or Flamby competitions or karaoke duels . For the more athletic, a roller-dancing track will also be set up in the castle grounds. The Vieilles Charrues team finally announces “plenty of other surprises based on giant ducks and churros. »

But Old Plows nevertheless remain a musical festival, the second largest in France after Hellfest. From July 13 to 17, more than 70 artists will be performing, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Spanish star Rosalia, Soprano, Robbie Williams, Blur and Aya Nakamura on stage. There are still three and four day passes for sale as well as tickets for Thursday and Sunday.
