MERCATO – OGC Nice recruits Aaron Ramsey

The official announcement has dropped. Advanced by Fabrizio Romano a few hours ago, an agreement was reached on Monday between OGC Nice and Welsh international Aaron Ramsey. A few hours after recording the signing of another midfielder, Alexis Beka Beka, the Gym attracted a big fish in the person of the ex-Arsenal player and of Juventus Turin.

On loan for the last six months to Glasgow Rangers, Aaron Ramsey reached the Europa League final with the Scots (1-1, 5-6 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt), before terminating his contract with the Turinese July 26. According to the Daily Mail, Nice was then in competition with the Charlotte team in MLS (United States), but the player’s preference fell on the last 5th in Ligue 1.

This signature could be accompanied by that of Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) who would have reached an agreement with OGC Nice for an amount of one million euros (+ bonus). But the duration of his contract remains a point to be clarified, while the Danish goalkeeper’s medical examination should not be long in coming.
