Melanie Müller revealed in an interview that the divorce from husband Mike Blümer has begun.
Reality TV star and singer Melanie Müller (33) has in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper confirms that her divorce from Mike Blümer (56) has been initiated. “I don’t want to go back. It wouldn’t do my children any good if they just argue and there is no longer any respect,” explains the Ballermann star and adds: “Then I think you shouldn’t maintain anything just because of it of the children. ” It is sad to have to say this after 14 years of relationship. “But they have also become much calmer since the stress is no longer there.”
There have been cracks in the marriage for a long time, emphasizes Müller. At the end of the year, photos showed the reality TV actress holding hands with another man. The 33-year-old now emphasizes in the “Bild” interview that the pictures were not the reason for the separation. “I’ve known him since I was 17 or 18. He looks after my children a lot right now when I’m at work. But I’m not with him.” At the moment she is “single mom”, but also adds: “But maybe something is on the way.”
Marital problems were a topic on TV
Melanie Müller has been married to Mike Blümer since 2014 and they have two children. In the summer she took part in the latest season of “Celebrity Big Brother” and won. As part of the program, the marriage problems of the two were also addressed. “I don’t know what my husband is still thinking,” said the 33-year-old, who broke up with him “not in a good way” before taking part in the show. At that time, Blümer said by voice message on the program “Celebrity Big Brother – The Late Night Show” that he needed “distance”.
After her victory, however, Müller had said that she wanted to make a new attempt to save her marriage. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, she replied to a corresponding question: “Personally, I will do everything I can to make it happen. But we do everything calmly and take the appropriate time.”
