‘Take My Soul’: Megan Fox Opens Up About Why She’s Drinking Her Fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s Blood

Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly celebrated their engagement bloody in the truest sense of the word. Now Fox has said that the two drink each other’s blood more often and what it’s all about.
The news of the engagement of actress Megan Fox and singer Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) aka Colson Baker in January made many a fan go weak in the knees. And not just because of an excess of romance. A subordinate clause, with which Fox commented on the engagement on her Instagram page, caused a stir. She said “yes,” she wrote at the time, “and then we drank each other’s blood.” In an interview Fox gave to British “Glamour”, the actress confirmed that it wasn’t just empty words at the time. The pair actually drink each other’s blood.
“Well, I think the word ‘blood drinking’ could mislead people into imagining that we have chalices and we’re drinking each other’s blood like in Game of Thrones,” she said. However, it is only a matter of a few drops that they “occasionally take for ritual purposes”. The 35-year-old said that she read tarot cards, dealt with astrology and other metaphysical practices and meditations. “And I do new moon and full moon rituals and stuff like that,” Fox explained.

Blood drinking is said to be part of these rituals or done for a specific reason, albeit in a very controlled manner. “It’s like, ‘Let’s spill a few drops of blood and everyone drinks it,'” Fox says. Her fiancé Baker, on the other hand, is less controlled in this regard. She describes him as haphazard, hectic and chaotic cutting open your chest with broken glass and saying, ‘Take my soul'”. An exaggeration, as Fox admitted with a laugh in the interview. It’s not exactly like that. “Maybe not exactly like that, but in a variation it’s often the case happened,” she explained.
Blood also plays a role elsewhere in the couple’s relationship. Colson Baker not only drinks the blood of his loved ones, he also wears a drop of it on a chain around his neck. The musician commented on a photo of the couple on Instagram in February with the words: “I wear your blood around my neck.” Fox and Machine Gun Kelly aren’t the first celebrity couple to celebrate their love in this unusual way. Angelina Jolie and ex Billy Bob Thornton also once wore such chains.
