A medical student, suspected of rape and sexual assault “by a person in a state of intoxication”, was placed in pre-trial detention on Wednesday according to information from France 3 and 100% wireless. The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office, requested by 20 minutesconfirmed that this young man of 23 years had recently been the target of two complaints for facts which would have taken place between 2018 and 2021.
According to the statements of the two complainants, but also of four other people heard by the Toulouse urban security attack group, these attacks took place during festive evenings, when the young man was in a state of drunkenness.
