For one day, artificial intelligence is in charge at the Couleur 3 radio station. Except for the news, the program is created solely by the AI.
The Swiss radio station Couleur 3 plays a program made purely with artificial intelligence for one day. The program has been running since 6 a.m. on Thursday, as the broadcaster announced on Twitter. Only the news was exempt from the experiment.
In the French-speaking music wave of the public broadcaster RTS (in German: SRF) there was a lot about artificial intelligence – produced with the help of the speech robot program ChatGPT, which has been causing a sensation since the end of last year.
The moderators had previously had their voices cloned and in this way conducted interviews with clones of former American Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump. In addition, the broadcaster regularly threw in information about the experiment. “It sounds like Couleur 3, but the moderators have been replaced by artificial intelligence,” says the supposed moderator, whose voice is indistinguishable from the voice of the real journalist.
