Joko and Klaas also came up with a quiz show for the 24-hour hijacking of their channel ProSieben. The station would like to continue it.

Those from Joko and According to current plans, the new quiz show shown by Klaas on her 24-hour program day will probably run as a program on the ProSieben program this year. ProSiebenSat.1 manager Henrik Pabst told the German Press Agency: “The show is coming.” Exact details about how the quiz will be structured, whether the show will be live and what day it will be broadcast have not yet been determined. This will be worked out in the next few weeks, added Pabst. The show will be shown at prime time from 8:15 p.m.

Florida Entertainment GmbH is behind the quiz idea – a television production company founded by television presenters Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. Joko and Klaas are exclusive artists for ProSiebenSat.1, whose contract runs for several years, according to the broadcaster.

On Sunday, the entertainers Joko and Klaas had sovereignty over the program on ProSieben for 24 hours. The experiment has not yet been shown in this form on German television. The two had won the airtime in a show against their own station. At 8:15 p.m. they showed the quiz show entitled “A very good quiz (with a high winning amount)”. To do this, they called hours in advance for candidates to spontaneously come to the studio in Berlin-Adlershof. A candidate named Carola won the 100,000 euros. She correctly answered the last question about which words the Queen song “We are the Champions” ends with.

What are the rules?

The rules of the quiz: Three candidates answer the moderators’ questions as a team – there were 25 in total. A team member has to press a buzzer within a certain time and give the answer – who decides the team itself. If the answer is wrong, they fly only the answerer is out, his two team members move on to a round, and a new candidate is added. If none of the three answers the question and time runs out, everyone is thrown out. That’s why the quiz is also a strategy game.

When asked about the lessons learned from the 24-hour TV spectacle, manager Pabst, who is responsible for all content on the streaming platform Joyn, ProSieben and Sat.1, said: “Our strategy of being local and also live has become a reality very clearly confirmed.” You can’t do a program like this every day. In principle, however, ProSiebenSat.1 is gradually redistributing the investment in program content in order to show fewer international licensed programs and more local content.

“People come to linear television when we show a big event. Television in the future has a lot to do with whether you can find content that triggers people so much that they come and interrupt everything else,” said Pabst. “We were able to activate a lot of viewers who rarely use linear television anymore.” From Pabst’s point of view, it has also been confirmed how important it is to have well-known faces and talents like Joko and Klaas in the program. Overall, Pabst summed up: “This was great proof of the strength of linear television culture.”

Reach is the most important key figure for the group’s channels, it said. The advertising-financed platform Joyn has become the heart of the entertainment sector. Joyn is available in Germany, Austria and soon also in Switzerland. ProSiebenSat.1 pursues the strategy of creating program content that can be seen on all distribution channels if possible – both linear and digital.
