Three months before the European elections, the resignation of MP Malte Gallée is causing uncertainty and many unanswered questions among the Greens. Gallée, at 30 the youngest German in the European Parliament, explained his move on Friday with the “rumors” that have been circulating for a long time that he was guilty of sexual assaults against female employees. Gallée categorically denies the allegations and explains on his homepage that he now wants to devote all his energy to refuting the allegations in the party’s responsible committees.
