A French rap star on the soundtrack of the next Transformers. MC Solaar has agreed to write a bespoke track for the franchise’s seventh installment, directed by Steven Caple Jr. and slated to hit screens June 7, according to exclusive information from Paramount.
Why the French rapper? The plot of Transform: Rise of the Beasts takes place in 1994, when MC Solaar crossed borders and conquered the United States. He knew how to make his way through the very closed club of American hip-hop.
