Once again, Maybrit Illner cannot lead through her political talk of the same name. This time Marietta Slomka will step in as a substitute.

Even with the “maybrit illner” edition of March 24 (10:15 p.m., ZDF), the eponymous journalist and TV presenter will not be able to lead through the talk. How about the official Twitter account for the show was informed, she is still canceled due to her corona disease. There it says: “Maybrit Illner is doing better, but unfortunately she is still positive.”

Colleague and “heute journal” presenter Marietta Slomka (52) will step in at short notice, as it is also said. Together with the guests Norbert Röttgen (CDU, 56), Katarina Barley (SPD, 53), Selenskyj advisor Alexander Rodnyansky (60), lawyer Constanze Stelzenmüller (60) and security expert Florence Gaub (45), she debates the topic “War in of Ukraine – is the West doing enough?”

Illner had also failed the previous week. ZDF capital studio manager Theo Koll (64) took over for them.
