Just around a week after its launch, it was clear that “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” would have a second season.

Amazon’s original series “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” is a complete success and is going into another round. Amazon Prime Video and they have that UFA informed. The first season, released on May 9th, caused such a stir that another season has already been confirmed.

“Maxton Hall” most successful non-American original

According to a press release, the series produced by UFA Fiction achieved the highest global viewership of a non-American original in a launch week on the streaming service. “Maxton Hall” made it to first place in the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries or territories and third place in more than 50 others.

The first season of the series is based on “Save Me”, the first volume of the “Maxton Hall” series by Mona Kasten (32). Harriet Herbig-Matten (21) and Damian Hardung (25) can be seen in the main roles Ruby and James in the series. Sonja Weißer (21), Fedja van Huêt (50), Runa Greiner and Ben Felipe play alongside them. Martin Schreier and Tarek Roehlinger sat in the director’s chair.

Herbig-Matten and Hardung will return to their roles for the second season, which will be based on the second book “Save You.” UFA Fiction is producing again. “‘Maxton Hall – The World Between Us’ tells a universal story of love between two people from different worlds” that has captivated viewers worldwide, says Philip Pratt, Head of German Originals at Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video , quoted in the release. They can hardly wait to go into production on the second season to continue telling the story.
