Max Verstappen (Red Bull) won the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday for the first time in his career. The Dutchman also took the lead in the Formula 1 championship at the end of the 5th round this season.
Having started at the top of this Grand Prix after Charles Leclerc’s last minute retirement, the Red Bull driver managed his lead perfectly despite an average start. Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) and Lando Norris (McLaren) completed the podium.

Second to start on the starting grid, Vatieri Bottas finally had to retire after a big problem with his mechanics when changing tires.
For his part, the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) finished 7th and lost the leading place in the championship to Verstappen, winner of his 12th F1 Grand Prix. Finally, a word about Frenchman Pierre Gasly, who finished this Monaco GP in a very honorable 6th place.
