Marc Marquez: “Tougher than expected”

MotoGP Sprint: Bastianini prevails over pursuers

In the large group from sixth place onwards, Enea Bastianini finally beat Jack Miller.

Francesco Bagnaia overtakes Raul Fernandez on the last lap and comes eighth.

Franco Morbidelli crossed the finish line in tenth place and came away empty-handed.

At the end, Pedro Acosta comes under pressure from Aleix Espargaro. But the youngest driver in the field can defend his fourth place against the oldest driver in the field.

MotoGP Sprint: CONFIDENT VICTORY FROM VINALES

From the start to the finish, Maverick Vinales drove confidently, even if he made small mistakes in between. The Aprilia rider is the fastest man today and wins his second sprint in a row after Portimao.

Marc Marquez comes second. On Thursday he said he would sign immediately if there was a place on the podium.

Jorge Martin came third, extending his championship lead.

Vinales is two seconds ahead of Marc Marquez and on his way to victory.
