Due to rain and storm, the organizer has postponed Matthias Reim’s concert in Cottbus.

Matthias Reim (64) is postponing his concert on August 20th in the Spreeauenpark in Cottbus again – this time only from outside to inside. Due to the announced weather conditions, the organizer Semmel Concerts has decided to move the outdoor event to the Stadthalle, as it says on Instagram.

“Since the weather forecast for the coming weekend (heavy rain and gusty winds) is anything but good and we don’t want to leave you out in the rain, Matthias Reim’s concert on August 20, 2022 will be moved from Spreeauenpark to Stadthalle Cottbus at short notice”, is the announcement from Semmel Concerts.

Concert postponed since 2020

The concert has already experienced several changes in plan: It was originally supposed to take place on December 18, 2020, but was then postponed to December 18, 2021 and finally to August 20, 2022 due to the corona pandemic.

After all: The seat numbers on the tickets that were purchased for the Stadthalle at the time are now valid again due to the renewed shift to the place of origin. Anyone who was looking forward to an outdoor event can also return the tickets before the event.
