When “Friends” star Matthew Perry († 54) was found dead in his hot tub last Saturday, it was a huge shock for his family, friends and fans.
Just 24 hours earlier, he was seen on a hotel date with a (still) unknown woman – and seemed to be in good spirits.
Photos that have now emerged show the actor at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. Perry is sitting at the table with a brunette companion and seems to be having an animated conversation with her. There are a few drinks in front of the two of them. SHE leans relaxed against the cushion of her chair, HE – in the dark sweater – turns to her attentively. The photo was snapped on Friday (October 27) around 2:30 p.m. local time.
Nobody suspected at that moment that the actor would die just a day later.
Eyewitnesses reported to TMZthat Matthew and his guest sat at the table for over an hour and then left together.
On Saturday around 4 p.m. local time An employee found Perry lifeless in the hot tub of his luxury Los Angeles property, called the emergency doctor. Any help came too late.

The sudden death of the series favorite still raises questions – also in view of the photo from the day before that showed him in good spirits on a hotel date.
On answers We’ll have to wait, as investigations into the exact cause of death are ongoing. No one is currently assuming foul play.
