Mastercard, the global payment giant It is accelerating its expansion of blockchain technology, most recently partnering with Polygon to help musicians build their careers through Web3.
The “Mastercard Artist Accelerator” program was launched on January 7 byspecifythat from this spring onwards The project will connect five new musicians from around the world with mentors who will help them build their brand in the Web3 music space.
“Artists will get exclusive access to special events, song releases, and more, along with courses that teach artists how to create. Through Web3, developers can build (and own) their brands, such as creating NFTs, virtual presences, and building an engaged community.”
Mastercard is also launching a collection of NFT tokens called the “Mastercard Music Pass.” The goal is to provide learning materials and “A unique resource” through collaboration with brands To help a new generation of musicians learn about Web3 integration with the music sector.
