The heart of a switch in the Hackerbrücke area was damaged. According to Deutsche Bahn, replacing it will take at least five hours. Since no S-Bahn traffic will be possible on the main route during this time, the work should take place on Wednesday night. Until then, there will be fewer S-Bahn trains on the road, and the affected section can only be used at low speeds, it was said.
According to the information, there are restrictions on all lines except for lines S3, S6 and S8. According to Deutsche Bahn, passengers can also use regional trains between Pasing and the main station. For the route between the main and eastern train stations, Deutsche Bahn suggests that passengers switch to the U5 subway line.
