Camille Combal kicked off the 5th season of Mask Singer, Friday, April 14. A program that has a new look this year, since Élodie Frégé and Michèle Bernier join the clan of investigators, alongside Kev Adams and Jeff Panacloc. Another novelty for this new edition, and not the least: the new costumes. Among these: the Caterpillar. A new character, whose objective was to pass as many stages as possible, until reaching the final and why not winning the competition. Unfortunately, the caterpillar had to unmask this Friday, April 21, during the second bonus of the season. Who was hiding under this adorable costume?

All the clues revealed

– A scale was unveiled in its magneto, as well as the number 32 and gold medals
– “She has traveled miles, and climbed podiums”
– She shone in front of “tens of millions of people”
– She wasn’t known as a “sportswoman”, even though she is today
– A pink wooden heart with the inscriptions “A+B”, a photo of Miss France 2021 Amandine Petit and an electric guitar were found in her locker

The opinion of the investigators

Many stars have been cited for the identity of the caterpillar. For Jeff Panacloc, it was Christophe Dechavanne who hid under this costume. Paul Belmondo was quoted by Michèle Bernier, as were Patrick Dempsey and Vincent Perrot. The latter was also a lead by Elodie Frégé, as was Alexandre Debanne. Kev Adams meanwhile thought of Bernard Montiel and Sébastien Cauet. Finally, Benjamin Castaldi, Tomer Sisley and Sébastien Roch were also cited by our investigator friends.

But during the caterpillar’s second musical performance, Kev Adams triggered the golden prono. He was convinced he had unmasked her! And he was right, since his prognosis was validated by Master Moya.

It’s ultimately about…

After the Vulture and the Duck, costumes in which Martin Lamotte and Laura Flessel were respectively, it was therefore the turn of the caterpillar to unmask for the second bonus of the season, Friday April 21. In the end, it was André Boucher, alias master key to Fort Boyard ! Nobody had managed to put a name on the caterpillar, apart from Kev Adams. Nice deduction from the comedian!
