In an accident on Lochhamer Straße in Martinsried on Monday there was a lot of property damage. The collision between two cars occurred around 4.45 p.m. in the area of the bend in the priority road on Fraunhoferstrasse. A 28-year-old said he could drive straight ahead on Lochhamer Straße in a southerly direction without having to pay attention to the traffic coming from the right. According to the police, he assumed he was on a priority road. At that moment, a 40-year-old came with his car on Fraunhoferstrasse and, actually using the right of way, wanted to turn left in the bend onto Lochhamer Strasse heading north.
