First she spoke to dentists, then to the DFB: After a strange hangout, Martina Voss-Tecklenburg is no longer officially the national coach. The DFB is now looking for a successor solution.
In a way, Martina Voss-Tecklenburg had already anticipated the outcome of the conversation when she took the stage in October. First in Bremen in front of experts from the prefabricated housing industry, then in Munich in front of dentists. She spoke about team building and coaching as well as change management – but she did not speak to the German Football Association (DFB) at that time. This only really happened again last Friday at a meeting, and if there was perhaps still a residual probability that the 55-year-old could remain connected to the DFB in some way, after the past few weeks it was already clear what would happen next would be announced on the date: the end of the collaboration with immediate effect. Voss-Tecklenburg is now officially no longer the national coach of the German women’s national team.
