On January 13, 1997, Marlene Lufen started at “Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen”. After a hiatus, she returned in 2006. Her colleagues are like family to her, says the presenter.
The broadcaster celebrates its presenter: “The ‘Sat.1 breakfast television’ without Marlene Lufen – so unimaginable for me,” Sat.1 boss Daniel Rosemann is quoted as saying in a statement on the anniversary. “Dear Marlene, thank you for your passion and passion for our most successful program. And I hope that you will accompany Sat.1 and me in the morning for many years to come.” Marlene Lufen is also an integral part of the program for many loyal viewers of the show.
Exactly 25 years ago, on January 13, 1997, Lufen started on “Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen”. She stayed until 2000 and then switched to WDR as a moderator and live reporter. But she is returning from public service to private television. And she stays. Since 2006, Marlene Lufen has been a permanent team member on “Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen” again.
Marlene Lufen: “I was allowed to grow in these 25 years, make mistakes”
On the anniversary day itself, the 51-year-old is free, but can be quoted in the message with emotional words: “My breakfast television colleagues are like part of my family. It may sound trite, but it’s exactly the same. I feel for a lot of my Colleagues a close connection, maybe even love.” When she started, she was very young and curious, but also very inexperienced, Lufen continues.
“In these 25 years I was allowed to grow, make mistakes, mature, try myself and become the person I am today. The ‘Sat.1 breakfast television’ is part of my life, and I’m very happy about that.” On the morning of her day of honor she was added live to the show, there was a look back at the highlights of her career and also a tear or two.
The broadcaster shared pictures of Marlene Lufen on social media then and now and congratulated the moderator. Many viewers follow, as a glance at the comments, of which there are hundreds, shows.
