At the end of her trial, last week, the justice considered that the accused had deliberately organized a meeting at her home, in Le Cannet, on October 22, 2015, between the victim and Seeman Mansour, 18, her other lover. , to make him commit murder. Together, they would have gone to bury the body in the forest of Mons, in the Var. Thibault’s body was never found. And the alleged murderer committed suicide six months later.

Lawyers will appeal

“Justice did what was expected of it, even if we could not find out where my son was”, exclaimed at the end of the hearing, at the microphone of BFMTV, Marguerite de Saint-Mareville , the mother of the victim.

For one of Marlène Dietrich’s three lawyers, Me Bernard Ginez, also interviewed by the television channel, “it’s impossible” that it was she who “committed these acts of violence”. “That we can imagine the complicity, the question would perhaps arise, but the assassination, it is absolutely unthinkable”, he assures. The three lawyers will appeal.
