Markus Söder about citizens’ money, the K question in the Union and wokeness

He himself apparently doesn’t want to become chancellor, but in… star-Interview, CSU boss Markus Söder formulates what requirements a Union candidate for chancellor must have. And what he thinks about citizens’ money, some Greens and wokeness.

Mr. Söder, when was the last time you had a plumber in your house?

That was a while ago. But plumbing is a very honorable profession. And because I’m a big Reinhard Mey fan, I’ve always found his song “I’m a Plumber by Profession” very good.

What makes a good plumber?

That in the end everything that was broken works again. Sometimes you wait longingly for him.

Friedrich Merz sounded more negative when he described the Chancellor as a “plumber of power,” a man who only tweaks screws but is not capable of building anything really great.

Olaf Scholz can no longer hold things together. The centrifugal forces in his government are too great and there is no connection to the people. A chancellor doesn’t just have to do the right things objectively. He must also be able to communicate, must provide support and hope, especially in a crisis like now. Unfortunately he doesn’t succeed.

He likes to communicate superficially. But that did Angela Merkel too.

Olaf Scholz is certainly the one who has the best insight into this traffic light mess. But he doesn’t let anyone participate. This is disturbing. And that distinguishes him from Angela Merkel.

Are you serious?
