Marine Le Pen’s sister returns to the regional council



Marie-Caroline Le Pen will discover a new regional council for Ile-de-France. The older sister of Marine Le Pen was elected on Sunday, regional councilor in Hauts-de-Seine, she was in second position in the department on the list of the National Rally. After having frequented the Ile-de-France hemicycle located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris from 1992 to 2004, Marie-Caroline Le Pen will discover the new in Saint-Ouen.

The RN won 16 regional council seats in these elections, out of a total of 209. That is 6 less than in 2015. Jordan Bardella, who led the list regionally (10.79% of the vote), was elected in Seine-Saint-Denis.

As a reminder, Valérie Pécresse won the regional elections in Ile-de-France by collecting 45.92% of the votes. One hundred and twenty-five of his running mate were elected to the regional council.
