“All the people who allow themselves to enter democratic circles to come and scream I do not know what (…) are idiots”, reacted Sunday Marine Le Pen during the program “Sunday in Politics” on France 3.

The president of the National Rally, questioned about the intrusion of French Action activists into the
Occitanie Regional Council Last Thursday, condemned the action of members of this far-right movement.

The latter had tried to enter the Toulouse hemicycle while a plenary assembly was being held. They had brought a sign that read “Islamo-leftists – traitors to France”.

The member for the 11th district of Pas-de-Calais explained, about the French Action, that she did not even know “that they still existed”. For Marine Le Pen, “how can these people think that by entering a democratic assembly by belching you advance your ideas?”

This action by the Maurrassian royalist movement raised a wave of condemnations, including at the highest point of the state, Emmanuel Macron having denounced an action reflecting according to him “the true face of the extreme right”.

The two activists who had been stopped by members of the security of the regional council were interviewed by the police, before being released. While the investigation continues, the socialist president of the regional council Carole Delga filed a complaint and demanded the dissolution of this movement.
