Mariele Millowitsch comes from a long-established Cologne family of actors. But at a young age she moved away from her hometown and lived in Munich and Hamburg. And she broke out of the family tradition: her brother, her father, her mother, an aunt, a great-aunt, a grandfather, all of them are or were actors. Millowitsch, however, has a degree in veterinary medicine, including a doctorate.
