The roles in this drama are distributed, and have been for a long time. And of course it is not to be expected that the individual protagonists suddenly start improvising when they go on the air on prime time on a Monday evening. After all, the whole world could theoretically watch “via satellite”, as Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann put it when asked and to the visible great satisfaction of the moderator. At this point, Louis Klamroth actually wanted to point out that what was once the sharpest talk show on ARD could also be used in Moscow to gather information. And if someone there wanted to spy on the plans of the West using the program, which according to the title is supposed to be “tough but fair,” he or she would not have had to write down too much on the report sheet, which would confuse the superiors.
