Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) is unstoppable in the sprint finishes, when Lorena Wiebes is not there. The Dutchwoman therefore took advantage on Friday of the absence of her compatriot, who had fallen 21km from the line, to win the 6th stage of the Tour de France women and consolidate her place as leader in the general classification a little more.
Vos signed her second victory of the week there after having already won in Provins, where she had taken the Yellow Jersey. On Friday, she beat Marta Bastianelli (UAE Team ADQ) and Lotte Kopecky (SD Work) in the sprint and also consolidated her lead in the points classification.
