Marcus Thuram has apparently decided to move to Inter Milan

Marcus Thuram, who is leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free transfer after his contract expires this summer, appears to have made a decision about his future. Among other things, the Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Italia report that the striker is close to a move to Inter Milan.

In principle, the Frenchman agrees with the Champions League finalists from Italy on a long-term contract. Inter now want to make final arrangements to seal the deal.

Thuram had been associated with several well-known clubs in the past few weeks and months. Most recently, Inter’s city rivals AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig were also considered interested.

Thuram had played in Gladbach since 2019 and had switched from EA Guingamp to the foals at the time.

Last season, the 25-year-old scored 16 goals in 32 appearances for Borussia across all competitions.
